Xmas challenge

In this weeks challenge in Scrapbutiken you needed to have stiching in your card. I have made mine by hand. You could  use a sewing machine if you wanted aswell. I have put it in the upper corner to the left and down in the right corner.  Here is my card.

Blog candy!

Yesterday my husband was shopping for groceries he found some scrapbooking suplies that he bought to me!! He called me and tried to explain what they had but it was not that easy as you may think. He doesn´t know or care at all about my scrapbooking things, so for him to call and try to by things he do not know is huge!

 This is what he bought me two pacs of ribbon and a pack with four punches. Love it!

 Today I went back to the store to see if I could find something more. And I did! Here is what I bought, and it was so much cheaper than where I usually by my things!

Then I bought these glasyars to alter and give as a christmas present. I thought I would make some candy to put in the yars.

One of my new projects!

Today I finished my advent calender. It is a gift to my husband and I am going to fill it out with small presents and then I have made a bigger box for christmas day which I thought I would put a little bigger gift in. I hope that He will like this.

New projects!

I have some new projects that I would like to share with you. On a crop in september I won letters that you can alter. The word is God Jul which is Merry Christmas. I have just painted them with gesso and now I am going to paint it with a red color.

 Here is a christmas tree that I just painted with gesso and that I am going to alter. With designer paper and flowers and bling of course.

Here is a candy box and I have two so that I can give one to my husband so we have one each. I am going to alter these as well.









I will of course show you these projects as soon I am done!

I made it!

Yesterday I made the last three tealight boxes. I gave it to my costumer and she was very happy about the boxes! This is how the looks like. All three looks different and as I said before she wanted them to have a winter theme and not a xmas theme.

Congratulation card

The day before yesterday I made a congratulation card to another customer. She wanted it to be the theme Paris and Sailing. And here is what I came up with.

Tealight card

Today I have made a tealight card to a customer she have ordered four! I am very happy that she wanted to order. I hope that I have finished it on Wednesday. She wanted them to be in grey/ silver and blue. So this is the first one.

Today I have made a sign to my dog! I thought she should have a sign and I wrote " here lives Minou" Lol!

Sneak Peek!

Here is a little sneak peek on my next project. I can say that it is a lot of cutting and gluing on this project so far! I hope that I will finish it on saturday.

Xmas challenge

Here is my card in the xmas challenge at scrapbutiken. This week the challenge were to count down from 10 and use 10 of something and so on. I think it went fairly well!

8 Stämplar (kan vara lite svårt att se alla snöstjärnorna men det är 7+ tjejen)

5 Områden med stickels ( hjärtat på skon, kanten och tofsen på mössan och kragen på jackan)
4 Utstansade järneksblad ( en utstansad är 3 löv därav att det ser mer ut än vad det är)
3 Papper
2 Metalldekorationer.
1 Sidenband.

The inside is not in the challenge but I wanted you to know what it looks like.  Very simple and easy. And it say Merry Christmas in Swedish.

Treat box in purple

Today I have made a trat box in black and purple. I liked the ribbon so much so I wanted to use that.  And black fits the most colors so that was an easy choice. Then I wanted to decorate the box with pattern paper and I could not find any paper that would match so I did my own  with watercolorpaper and a distress ink pad, dusty concord and my own glimmermist.

I do not know if it is a xmas box or a get wll box yet.

I have used a self adhesive grip fastening disc to open and close the card

I used the same to open to get the candy out of the box. 

I haven´t decorate the inside yet I am not sure if I gonna make a pocket and a tag or just a tag.

Today I got my flowers and they are so nice! I cant wait to use them.

Yesterday night I ordered some flowers from PY hobby! And I got an email today that they had sent them now! That is fast! So I might have the flowers tomorrow! Thank you PY hobby!

Alterd matchox and a treat box with chocolate

Today I have alterd a matchbox with a little santa and then I made a treat box with chocolate as a thank you gift.

Two new projects!

Now I have two new projects and I am so excited about it! I am not going to tell you what it is but I will show you as soon I am done! So I hope you will stick around and found out what it is!


I have alterd a notebook so I can write down some idea´s and sketches. I wanted to decorate it more but I don´t think it is such a good idea because then it will be hard to write in it!

This is how it looks like!

I stamped Inspire on a piece of tissuepaper and glued it on a Tim Holtz plastic piece and used a pearldobber to get it more white. I like the result!

2 cards and an alterd matchbox!

Last weekend I did 2 cards, one babycard in blue and one xmas card!

The babycard I had to follow a sketch and this is what I made.

  Here is my xmas card. It had to be black and white and one color more. I choose  red! :)

Lo!

Last weekend I was at a crop and I made these three layouter.

Party was the first challenge and it had to be pink in the lo so this is what I did.

The second lo I did I had to follow a sketch, I could turn it as I wanted but you should be able to see where I got my inspiration from. So this is what I made.

At the last challenge the inspiration came from three lyrics and I choose " Du är min ledstjärna och vän. Du är min tro mitt hopp och min kärlek." By B Afzelius. And it is about love and companionship.
